Using All Weigh Safe Mobile weighing equipment – we weigh your tow vehicle, caravan, trailer, SUV, RV, Ute, truck or other plant or equipment at your home or business in the Gold Coast or Northern NSW area. We accurately define the weights required by road-safety laws and insurance companies, ensuring that your vehicles are checked and comply with the regulations and are not overloaded beyond manufacturing specifications.
We use approved mobile scales that are regularly calibrated to determine all the following set weight definitions.
GCM
The Gross Combination Mass is the GVM plus GTM and is a critical calculation when towing a trailer or caravan. We will assist you with this calculation using manufacturer-derived and direct measurements.
TBM
the Tow Bar mass is the weight of the fully loaded trailer measured at the tow bar. It should not exceed 15% of the GTM and must be included when calculating the GVM.
GVM
The Gross Vehicle Mass is the tare weight with all its additions, spare wheel, and maximum payload (including passengers) as measured on all 4 wheels. This includes the TBM when hitched, cargo after market accessories.
GVMC
The Gross Vehicle Mass Combination is GVM plus TBM.
ATM
The Aggregate Trailer Mass is the GTM plus TBM.
